Welcome, dear Sylvia
Sylvia Jane. A pleasant surprise. Most had their bets on a boy. Most had their bets on February. Most had their bets on another hefty weigh-in. And I had my bets on another drawn-out labor lasting into the night. Our new little girl graced our lives with hers on March 2nd, weighing in at a mere (for us) 8 pounds and 1 ounce, at 11:23 in the morning, after the midwife had been at our house for less than two hours. Welcome, dear Sylvia. We already don't remember what life without you was. (Edited to warmly credit the photos to my wonderful friend Megan. Thank you so much for capturing these moments for us!)

I love the pic of Max and Adam. I remember thinking, "Oh, I hope I caught that quick look they gave each other!"

ReplyDeleteI hope it didn't come across that I was seeking recognition for them. I was just saying that I'm glad I caught that sweet moment between those two, well, three :) like I hoped I did. I'm glad the pictures turned out, and I SO loved being there.
